VOLUNTEERS

Much of Maccabi Australia’s strength lies in the calibre and number of our volunteers.  Being a not-for-profit organization, our volunteers provide the workforce needed to run the many events which are our charter.  The highly successful 2009 Junior Carnival held in Sydney in January is a prime example of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our volunteers. 

One of the many comments received after Carnival fully expresses what we feel about our volunteers:  ‘A huge thank you and well done to all the organising committee, team management and volunteers.  So many hours and hours and hours of work have gone into this – it is a real credit to you all and a great strength of our community.’
